i take it the old accounts on the GMG are inaccessible or gone from the new temp forums?
its really too bad we cant restore the old forums. :( these new ones, while better than nothing and deserve praise for the efforts of the staff, really just dont compare. but theyre not finished yet, i guess, so hopefully thye will be better later.
@pubby8: It didn't the website was taken down by GMG staff, it just would have meant that stevenup had access to other people's accounts (although he could only find an encrypted pass, which would take immense ammounts of time to collide and dehash), so there really wasn't much of a threat, nor was the site screwed up by hacking.

I'm confused. Why would hacking into a forum screw up the whole website? Also, I don't like the new forums, how come gmc won't get hacked?

Nah, it's actually got worse security and even more exploits than IBP.
Moving to less secure software is the logical step.

Well, theres no vulnerabilities I can see clearly, but make sure to lock your back doors so no-one can get in.
